| Fantastic Four and the Rise of
the Silver Surfer
oh my god, i'm blown away. ok, except for jessica alba's
bad hairdo, her weird makeup and the strangely intense contacts everything
else was just as i would have imagined. te silver surfer was convincing,
as was the bad guy. the funny conversations between sue and reed and
also ben and johnny are so hilarious that i couldn't stop laughing
which was kind of embarassing because i was sitting in the middle
of a movie theatre.
the stunts and the effects are really good, better than in the first
movie. the characters have evolved (at least a little) and the story
line is easy to follow. sometimes there are things that happen unforeseen
but most of the time, it's pretty obvious what's going to happen.
but as an overall opinion i can say that it's a movie worth seeing
more than once.

Transformers
I was truly amazed when i left the movie theatre. I used
to watch the comic series and had a 3" bumblebee when i was a
kid, but i actually never thought that they would make that into a
movie. but, kudos to michael bay! i so love the movie. the characters
(even with slightly changed names and new autobots/decepticons joining
the team) come across very real and are just adorable. the robots
look so real and the action scenes are fantastic. one thing though,
after watching that movie, i suddenly didn't feel the need anymore
to want to have the new nokia n93i...it was the one that went berserk
in the glass box after being injected with energy of the all-spark.
or is it better to have it? i don't want to imagine it to shoot me
while i try and call someone...
i want my bumblebee back and can someone tell my Golf VI to transform
into a mini-version of optimus prime?
RATING: 10 of 10, it's a must-see!
The Simpsons
Homer and his family at their best. Ok, sometimes it's a
bit weird to see marge so...strange when she's leaving homer. and
bart and ned flanders? what is going on? but i loved the sequences
with the inuit woman with the big boobs and the search for the epiphany.
canada rocks! talking about spiderpig...it's my ringtone!
even for people who have never seen the series, watching the movie
is a good thing to do when you want to spend a funny evening.

300
more than 300 nearly naked and extremely well-build (even if only
with painted on abs) running around on screen is a wonderful sight.
ok, the story lacks a few details and a few historically correct informations
but overall, this comic like remake of the spartan revolution is -
simply put - a delight to watch.

Sunshine
The sun is dying. 10 astronauts strapped to the back of the
biggest stellar bomg ever on their nearly futile mission to restart
the planet that secures the life on earth. the actors are ( surprisingly)
well chosen and portrait the characters in a way that the sci fi moments
are not the most important things here but the characters. surprisingly,
the movie - with having read all the bad criticism before - was so
cool that i went to buy the dvd as soon as it came out here. the effects
and the way the mission goes sideways seems so...human which is not
typical for a hollywood blockbuster. thank you, danny boyle, for another
stunning movie!
