yeah, we have a new layout. as you can see, it's not about some fancy actors or whatever else we had on here, this time it's about one and only one - me! these pictures were taken in 1986, which means i was 4 years old. what a beauty, eh? :)

as soon as i have more time i will update the creativity and fanfiction section! i bet you guys are desperately waiting for the new chapters!

more news: as far as uni is concerned, the chances are good that i'll only need 2 more semesters of studying and another one for the papers and then i'll be done. wish me luck, my friends. the band now has 4 songs, awaiting bliss, now, breathe and don't get me wrong. we'll probably go to the studio soon to "really" record them in a professional way in a real studio (not the one the drummer has at home where i'm standing in a closet which is covered with blankets *laughs*) but we're really improving. still, we haven't agreed on a name yet...and as long as we don't have a name i can't create a website and a myspace site...which means you can't listen to our music...this is very...bad, isn't it? just kidding.

ok, today i have received the ticket to chile (18.2.2008 - 10.4.2008) and i have to admit that i am really looking forward, no matter how strange the situation between my mum and sister is now. lots of fighting...i can tell you. guess my mum just can't get along without me...my sis is not as good as i am concerning the fighting...i have 23 years of practice, my sister has only a few (cause she was at boarding school and didn't come home except for the holidays and she moved out at the age of 15).

it's really late now and i guess i should be better going to bed...want to get up really early tomorrow and watch an episode or two of supernatural before leaving for uni to do this lovely presentation on bilingualism and then go to work and type about 100 pages for my lawyerv :) but well, the work is not that hard and i am quite quick in typing and the money is good. i need new jeans! now!

ok...before i fall asleep over the keyboard, i'll better sign off.

Dear Friends,

on saturday, we finally did it! we rented a rehearsal room and practiced our song "awaiting bliss" which i wrote only a few weeks ago.

maybe i should to a little more explaining here: andy (the god of electric guitar), stefan (the god of drums) and i (the weirdo with the voice) got together after andy and stefan wanted to finally go public with their amazing rock/grunge/indie music and recorded an instrumental version of the song they felt like going to be our first song. I came in last and was asked to write the lyrics suiting the song. But that was quite a hard task when you have absolutely no idea what to write about. but i took what came to my mind first and in the end, i had the perfect song (considering the time i had for writing it). "awaiting bliss" is quite agressive and mean, but well, that's how this music is supposed to be. if i had to explain how the music/singing sounds like...i guess i would say it's a mixture of evanescence, metallica and a good amount of german craziness :)

and on saturday we finally met and played/sang the song together. ok, you didn't really hear me, because the guitar and the drums were way too loud. but the guys were quite happy with my voice and they just loved the song. after rehearsing "awaiting bliss" for 2 hours, we already started to work on a new song. guess i can write the lyrics to that one soon.

you can't imagine how happy i am. could this be one of my believed-to-be-dead dreams come true?? i hope so!

whow, it's been a while. i can't believe that i haven't blogged in such a long time. it's been...half a year? but right now - since i've been watching all the gilmore girls episodes (call it a gilmore girlathon) and was exposed to all this craziness and this talking and oh god...these weird characters - i feel like blogging a bit. ok, so much for that...

actually, i have absolutely no idea what to write about, because there is nothing interesting going on right now. my parent's house is almost finished and guess who is doing all the paint jobs in there? yeah, lucky me! guess it's my curse :) i always want to swing the brush...make everything look bright and colourful. so it's always me when someone wants to paint their room...555-callmaxi :) that's all i can say to that...

well, this is the last week of uni and i am soooooooooooo tired! so worn out and i can't wait for it to be over. god knows when this will be *gg* i'm a long time student...but i guess i've mentioned that somewhere already. anyhow, lots of written and oral exams are coming up and well...guess i'll better be prepared. but this semester went by quite smoothly. can't believe it went by so quickly.

oh oh, before i forget it, writing is quite easy nowadays. guess that's because of the topic, supernatural, which actually is quite a cool show. the first 3 big chapters of the first story are finished and i have already begun to collect ideas for part 2. yeah, go me! part 1 is growing and growing, right now it's 26 pages already for the first 3 chapters! i'm pretty amazed...surprised...and the ideas just keep coming. hope my muse sticks around for at least a few more months until i finish these stories...

happy new year everyone. hope you all had a nice party and got to see the fireworks. we celebrated the new year here in berlin and enjoyed the fireworks, raclette cooking and martini (no martini, no party!).
